Position Summary Our team is experiencing exciting growth within our established practice and we have a need for a strong civil engineering Project Specialist Manager professional for our San Diego, CA office. Ensures the integrity of the project budget through approved scope changes, fiscal changes and contingency reallocations Verifies invoices and their correct holdback, coding, and allocation Verifies overhead charges and their distribution Issues project cost reports including forecast final costs and variances Flags significant projected overruns or underruns Ensures final payments of hold back on all contracts and closing of accounts upon project completion Develops and administers budgets, schedules and performance standards. Establishes and administers centralized functional projects. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree with emphasis on communication, business, finance or accounting preferred. Other degree programs will be considered depending on associated experience. Demonstrated knowledge of financial reporting and forecasting, accounting concepts, and auditing and reconciling multiple invoices and multiple budgets is required Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products required Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) is strongly preferred At least 10 years of progressive civil engineering experience is required At least 7 years of progressive Project Management experience is preferred.
