Posting Summary

Provide support to the Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program. Serve as first contact for potential participants. Support program staff in processing participant enrollment, including but not limited to, the initial screening and entry into Coordinated Entry. Coordinate logistics for the program staff. Organize outreach events targeted to referring organizations and clients.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Associate’s in a related field and one to three years’ related experience required. Effective verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills required. Demonstrated ability to accurately attend to detail and to successfully work with a sensitive population requiring specific experiential knowledge required.

Desirable Qualifications

Experiential knowledge as a military veteran and/or with homelessness; training, education, or experience with social services support desirable.

Special Conditions Contingent on continued funding, External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period, A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees
