Posting Summary

Provide compliance review and oversight of programs that support the conduct of safe and ethically sound scientific research involving human participants. Serve as the liaison between the University’s institutional review committees and the research faculty and staff, internal departments, collaborating universities, Network affiliates, and other applicable entities, to ensure compliance with federal and University policy.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Bachelor’s degree and two to four years’ experience in a research setting required. Experience with federal regulations and guidelines required. Ability to make independent decisions in a fast-paced, regulated environment and to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and regulators required. Effective written communication and editorial skills and verbal communication skills required. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and database applications required.

Desirable Qualifications

Experience at an academic research organization, Certified IRB Professional (CIP) certification, familiarity with Click software and experience related to operations of a single/central IRB desirable.
