Job Description

What you’ll be doing...

You will be responsible for managing dispatch operations across the country for GNO. You will be supervising, coaching, developing and driving productivity with bargained for associates in a 24x7 center.

  • Leading, coaching and providing direction to subordinates in support of all work functions.
  • Providing clarification or explanation of changes, goals and other duties.
  • Utilizing various reports and observations to monitor KPIs.
  • Scheduling, reporting and project tracking.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Willingness to work overtime when necessary, including weekends, after hours and being on call as required for the needs of the business.
  • Willingness to travel.

Even better if you have:

  • Five or more years of supervisory experience in network, field operations, center operations or a related environment.
  • Knowledge of routing protocols (MPLS, LDP, BGP, IS-IS, OSPF) tools.
  • Experience in administering processes and policies as they relate to: safety, attendance, performance, work rules and code of conduct.
  • Knowledge of employment/labor laws.
  • Union employee management experience.
  • Ability to analyze complex issues and identify process improvements for formal documentation.
  • Experience managing complex processes and driving results.
