Transportation Engineer Entry Level - (BI 0007ZG)

Engineering EIT that will assist with the development of plans for transportation improvements, traffic signal design, traffic modeling and analysis, field data collection, geometric design, and report writing.
Typical work tasks include:
•Development of roadway design plans using MicroStation software.
•Assist with the development of transportation planning documents and reports
•Assist with the development preparation of quantity spreadsheets.
•Geometric design of expressways, arterial roadways, and urban streets.
•Analyze traffic conditions using Synchro and Highway Capacity Software.
•Perform other professional services to support project demands of the office.
•Bachelors of Science in Engineering required, Major: Civil (Transportation/Traffic Focus)
•Minimum of 1 year related experience required (Co-operative engineering or engineering internship experience would fulfill this requirement)
•Experience with MicroStation software preferred
•Experience with Geopak or OpenRoads preferred
•Valid driver’s license
•Strong mathematical and analytical skills
•Strong oral and written communications skills
•Strong time management and attention to detail
