What you’ll be doing...

The Global Supply Chain team has an opening for a Supply Chain Quality Assurance Consultantto work on developing and executing Inventory Controls to support all Verizon Network business units. The Inventory Control Team ensures simplified processes for proper inventory levels, on-time delivery, and continues to drive cost out of the business. This team is responsible for building key partner relationships in each of the Verizon business units with Field Teams and internal stakeholders to develop and implement end-to-end processes for Supply Chain.

You will be responsible for providing guidance, training, and oversight to ensure successful asset management processes. You will present process improvement recommendations to eliminate inneficient inefficient, non-productive work to management. You will be an active contributor to the community dedicated to supporting the Inventory and Asset Management objectives of Verizon.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • A degree in Business, Supply Chain, or relevant field.
  • knowledge in Six Sigma or certification.
  • Experience with ERP systems, Supply Chain Planning Systems, PeopleSoft, nSAP, vSAP, CATS (Fulcrum), and Tableau.
  • Knowledge of financial ledger asset tracking, national warehousing, transport and logistics program.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively with various teams and projects, tight deadlines and take actions using self-directed management skills.
  • Flexibility to work in all location types whether network office, field site, or warehouse location.
  • Project Management abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organization and attention to detail.
