QA Analyst – SAP Ariba

  • Experienced in Functional, integration, validation and regression testing.
  • Good knowledge of Procure to Pay processes (P2P).
  • Knowledge of SAAS (Preferably SAP Ariba Cloud on Demand, Oracle EBS and Ariba Integrations or similar integrations).

  • Supplier Life Cycle Management and Performance: 5 years (Required)
  • SAP Ariba: 4 years.

 

Establishing, sustaining, driving, and monitoring quality assurance processes, practices, and controls in support of application and system requirement, development and test activities throughout the software development and sustainment lifecycles. Provides leadership and consulting on quality assurance methodology. Leads quality improvements to requirement, development and test procedures and responsible for the development and implementation of quality assurance processes and tools. Mentors and directs other quality assurance analysts. 7 years         

 

Story Behind the Need – Business Group & Key Projects

  • These CWs would be reporting directly to the manager of program management for Starbucks Technology under the Source to Pay organization.
  • Team: Business team members of core functional areas (sourcing managers, procurement managers) and other project management professionals, primarily.
  • PMO for the source to pay program, specific to user acceptance testing. The implementation of the Ariba application on procurement and payments – on the buying and accounts payable functions within this application.

 

Typical Day in the Role

  • Heavy duty test phase in the fall, need a manager to come into manage the test phase. Understand the test effort and then be ready to go for the actual test.
  • Month of just ramp up on program details, but then will building out the test strategy, user acceptance test plan, laying out all key scenarios and defining origination of test execution and manage the progress of the test efforts. Will be hiring more testers later on to help do the actual testing, this will be more around managing the test script execution.
  • Will be working with program team member under the large program, so cross functional program team members. As well as supplier resources.
  • So many things happening in the building and in rooms that they need to be here in the building.
  • Extension is possible by a month or two at most, will most likely not convert.
