Job Description


Description of Duties:

The Incident Response Analyst supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:

  • Perform duties as defined in the LCC CONOPS and the IRES PWS
  • Coordinate with the MDA CERT for responses to Cyber Tasking Orders (CTOs)
  • Conduct vulnerability scans using ACAS, and analyze the results
  • Review event logs for reportable incidents
  • Review and validate STIG findings on IT systems (Windows, CISCO, Linux)
  • Process waivers to be sent to the Authorizing Official (AO) for signature
  • Review “blocked website” request for government approval
  • React to cybersecurity incidents
  • Review FierEye Alerts and attempt to remediate them
  • Use other CND tools like WireShark, Netscout, ArcSight, and Snort as needed
  • The successful candidate will be able to:
  • Use Microsoft Office products
  • Use Remedy ticketing system
  • Read and understand network diagrams

This position is located at Schriever AFB, Colorado Springs, CO.

Basic Requirements:

Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 8 years of general experience; Associate’s degree and 6 years of general experience; Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of general experience; Master’s degree and 2 years of general experience.

  • Must have at least 2 years of directly related experience
  • Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance (or must be able to obtain)

Desired Requirements:

  • CEH certification
  • Networking experience
  • Experience with scripting
  • Background in Linux
