Cyber Security Project Manager Responsible for the delivery of planned and ad-hoc cyber security projects for a large federal agency. Responsible to improve organizational performance and achieve program goals by developing and executing end-to-end project managements. Coach all team managers to deliver on time and on budget. 
 
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Maintain applications according to SLAs. 
  • Work across the Service Delivery Lifecycle on engineering solutions for new system roll-outs, major/minor enhancements, and/or ongoing maintenance of existing applications. 
  • Identify and assess complex problems and create solutions that require in-depth evaluation of variable factors that are implemented by the team. 
  • Work with the client to gather requirements and propose solutions; 
  • Develop project plans, including detailed implementation steps to deploy solutions, dependencies, key stakeholders, project risks, and potential blockers
  • Draft Gant charts, detailing forcasted schedules 
  • Track, retain, and upload all project documentation into the Project Management system 
  • Conduct project and issue management (status reporting, issue reporting, ETC/budget reporting) for assigned scope of work, and make decisions that impact the team through regular consultation with senior management. 
  • Draft and present regular project status briefings to key stakeholders 
  • Execute the strategic direction set by senior client leadership.

Qualifications

Basic Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of related project and PMO experience to include:
  • Business Strategy
  • Procurement and Requirement Management
  • Project Management
  • Configuration and Change Management
  • Vulnerability Management and Assessment

 

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
