    The role:

    Joining our team as a clinical sales specialist, you will focus o on our Oncology, NIPT and Rare and Undiagnosed Genetics products sold to clinical laboratories primarily in Turkey, working with the Partner Account Manager (PAM) and helping to educate colleagues.


    Responsible for achieving target on your region, you will liaise with marketing to strengthen our growing reputation in this field, collaborating successfully across all parts of the business. Moreover, the clinical sales specialist will use the technical knowledge to drive increased sequencing, microarray and library preparation consumables usage, largely by reducing customer ramp times and assisting new customers in the design and implementation of new workflows. Both pre-sales and post-sales activities will be carried out to increase awareness of the platform, and familiarize customers with associated applications and workflows.


    Specific Tasks and Responsibilities:

    • Ensure an active participation in the achievement of the district sales quotas and objectives, working closely with the Partner Account Manager.
    • To educate the PAM at a high level, and to keep the PAM up to date on all new relevant product launches within defined market segment.
    • Identify and manage high-calibre sales opportunities within the defined market, supported by the PAM.  
    • To present compelling customer sales presentations within the defined market.
    • Participate in all relevant sales activities and assist with general customer demonstrations, training and support
when a specialist’s knowledge is required.
    • Coordinate and communicate sales activities and strategies effectively to supervisors and PAM.
    • Write and execute a strategic business plan to exceed revenue targets by growing current base, gaining new customers with a focus on early innovator labs, and leveraging awareness through professional consortia.
    • Effectively build a short/medium/long term sales pipeline and manage the necessary levels of sales leads, prospects, and opportunities.



    • BA/BS or MS/PhD preferred in Life Sciences. 

    • Preferred experiential background.
    • Significant experience in clinical and/or translational sales within the defined market.
    • Strong technical background in molecular biology or genomics is required.
