Job Description


-Candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Supply Chain needs for Rapid Solutions in support of new product integration and production of government and commercial products.  


-Candidate will oversee Material Resource Planning, Procurement, Asset Management, Product Life Cycle Management, Shipping/Receiving Inventory/Warehousing, planning/scheduling, supplier management, and logistics.


-Works with several divisions to ensure their process/contract requirements are followed and tailored as needed, typically working directly with Project Managers and Engineering personnel.


-Plans, develops and implements processes and tools as a customer service function to these multiple divisions in support of supply chain management, procurement, physical distribution warehousing, and production. 


-Establishes and executes policies, programs and procedures to support delivery requirements specific to varying contract or customer needs.


-Creates physical distribution network capable of achieving proper inventory levels to support inventory and production objectives.

-Establishes physical distribution centers.

-Identifies hardware and software requirements to support distribution in a multiplant, multi-distribution environment.


-Manages all distribution functions and interfaces including order entry, stocking, shipping and receiving.


-Assures that materials, parts and assemblies are stored in an efficient manner and that shipments are prepared in accordance with company and contract requirements. 


-Oversees procurement and maintains approved supplier list.  


-Manages the relationships with suppliers and works with the quality manager to qualify suppliers and measure performance.

-Develop a process to control  drawings

-Identifies process bottleneck and implements solutions in a timely manner.

-Train and evaluate direct reports and those your team supports.

-MRP–Material Resource Planning tools.
-Asset Management tools.
-Product Life Cycle Management tools.
-Inventory control and warehousing.
-Shipping and Receiving.
-Quality Assurance incoming inspection.
-Familiarity with hardware manufacturing.
-A TS/SCI security clearance is preferred.
-AS9100 requirements for Supply Chain.
-FAR/DFAR requirements for contracts and procurement.
-DCAA approved accounting systems.
-ITAR and EAR regulations.
-APICS Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM).
-ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB).
Clearance Requirement:
Clearable. This position may require the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.  Clearance processing will be completed by the U.S. Government. Factors considered for a U.S. Government Security Clearance include but are not limited:
