About the Role

The Money Matter's team makes money easy to see and manage. We oversee the entire budget for the global IT-Eng organization. We have deeper responsibilities in both telecom expense management and software asset managment. This is quite a feat given the scale and complexity of our operation with the number of vendors, employees, countries we operate in, and pace of transactions! For Software Asset Management, in collaboration with internal stakeholders, the vendor, and legal - we help ensure timely and accurate software renewals. This can involve rationalization/demand management, negotiations, issuing purchase orders, and lots of tracking and communication to keep an efficient portfolio. We also have heavy involvement in helping leaders set, track, and manage their related budgets. We are a critical part of help Uber along the road to profitability!

What You'll Do

Manage user licensing requirements and associated spend to meet organizational service and budgetary targets Subject matter expert for software contracts, software usage rights, and pricing for SaaS software purchased by IT Eng Ownership of budget/forecasting for SaaS purchases across IT Eng Create formulas/models for forecasting Support Strategic Sourcing with negotiations by providing detailed usage data from business, SAM perspective and best practices Create standard process for purchasing, budgeting, and managing SaaS

What You'll Need

  • Minimum of 8 years experience in IT. 4+ years with a focus on Asset Management.____
  • Understand broad range of Software applications and topics: GDPR, Licensing, Audits, etc..____
  • Understanding Software Asset Management principles and technologies____
  • Analytical and truth seeking. Ability to understand complex concepts and make reasoned decisions objectively. Passion for data driven decisions____
  • Impeccable customer service, strong ability to work with cross functional teams at all levels____
  • Solid business aptitude with an ability to understand technical requirements, challenges and risks. Stakeholders enjoy working closely with you.____
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and exceptional emotional intelligence. Ability to influence and motivate people across a broad variety of job functions through your relationships.
