What you’ll be doing...
Network Implementation program managers are responsible for end-to-end implementation of network infrastructure initiatives as it relates to new platform, product, and service deployments working with all organizations within Network (i.e., HQ Planning, PDI, NNO, ME, Device Technology and the Markets). Cross-functional work is required to collaborate with other teams which include: Device Marketing, PMO, IT, and CARE. In this role, you’ll be tasked to manage highly visible Multi-access Edge Computing (MEC) and other 5G network infrastructure related programs from conceptual stage to final implementation. Ideal candidate would have a mix of technical and project management background with proven track record of operationalizing new products and services. Candidate must have entrepreneurial mindset to lead projects, collaborate, and influence decision making in a cross-functional settings that include various internal VZ teams, external partners, and vendors (e.g., initiating milestones, timelines and direction, aligning people, manage risk, executive reporting). Your role will be pivotal to coordinate activities within the network function and across other teams to make completing complex projects look easy.
