Job Description

About the Role

This is a Technical role that will be working with different internal stakeholders on building automated processes and tools, primarily in Python. This person will be challenged to be opportunistic in finding new ways to plug in and add value to either existing processes or new ones that have yet to be created (more than just automating existing items).

What You'll Do

  • Work with regional partners and local teams to identify and prioritise what can be fully or partially automated, through a lens of saving time or money for the business
  • Strong coordination with the other regions (APAC, EMEA, US/CAN) on automation efforts, and ability to combine and or push to a global level (either through productization, or globally run process)
  • Measure impact on automation initiatives to show value and impact on headcount and/or spend efficiency
  • Build trust (and clear reporting) with local teams on processes that have been automated that they are working and driving value
  • Maintain all previous work that has been created and ensuring timely updates when things break

What You'll Need

  • A minimum of 4 years of robust work experience in a startup, strategy, operations, analytics, business development, or a variety of other specialty roles with proven ability in quantitative fields is expected, but we'll evaluate candidates with less experience if they meet our other requirements
  • Technical expertise: Programming proficiency in at least 2 languages (python is a big plus)

  • Professional proficiency in English and Portuguese or Spanish

  • Problem solving - Being able to tackle issues that involve people, things, and processes by using logic, common sense and data. Identifying the root cause of a problem as opposed to focusing on the symptoms
  • Ability to take initiative in a constantly-changing work environment while maintaining flexibility and a collaborative attitude
  • Good communication skills that will allow you to clearly explain your work and to participate in constructive debate
  • Stakeholder management
  • Experience working within a matrix and multi-country located organization
