Job Description

This position will be initially established at Ridgecrest, California in support of Naval Air Weapons Station, China Lake and in direct support of earthquake recovery work through approximately 2023. The work location can thereafter be flexibly located in the general southern CA area and is expected to thereafter support similar project assignments as various locations, predominantly in the U.S. West, but potentially throughout the United States.
•Programming, space planning, furniture layout and design, furniture specifications, interior finish selections, specifications, presentations to clients, ability to review other’s drawings to ensure design intent.  
•Compiling, creating and specifying full SID packages to include FF&E drawings and documentation, built-ins, elevations and axonometrics, interior finish selections, specifications and samples.
•Compiling, creating and specifying full CID packages to include FF&E documentation and procurement packages.
•Producing design intent drawings and construction documentation drawing sets for furniture and interior design.
•Coordinating furniture and space plan designs with internal architecture and engineering disciplines.
•Consults with users and contractors and represents Jacobs in meetings.
•Experience with overseeing others’ work on all of the above elements of the work of an Interior Designer.
•Bachelors Degree in Interior Design
•NCIDQ accreditation
•Minimum 15 years of experience 
•Proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, Adobe and Bluebeam1
•Experience with ensuring the aesthetic and functional integrity of design drawings and especially, interior finishes and features
•Experience with running own projects
•Experience with advising and providing executive support to Senior Government clients
•United States Citizenship preferred
•Industrial or Laboratory Design experience preferred
