Job Description


 As a Facilities Electrician, you’ll join a team of multi-discipline technical experts, ensuring that our clients can deliver their products and services – uninterrupted. 


We’ll give you the tools to become an expert on the electrical systems that support our client’s operations and keep their people safe. You’ll utilize your expertise to help your team succeed in the safe and time-critical operation, maintenance and repair of mission-essential electrical equipment and components including low voltage and medium voltage systems such as chillers, variable frequency drives (VFD), emergency generators, uninterrupted power supply (UPS), panel boards, branch panels, motor control centers, and related facilities equipment. You’ll contribute to the success of our program with efficient preventive maintenance and effective solutions to complex challenges that may arise in our client’s state of the art facilities. Most importantly, you’ll take action to ensure the safety, health and well-being of your team and our planet.

 Here’s what you’ll need: 

  • High school graduate or equivalent 
  • At least 7 years of related commercial and industrial electrical maintenance experience 
  • State Electrical Journeyman License 
  • Varied electrical and mechanical experience 
  • Proven understanding of electrical system components and theory 
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical, and equipment drawings
  •  Working knowledge of a volt, ohm meter, and megger
  • Ability to troubleshoot motor controls and work under pressure to restore critical equipment
  • Knowledge of 400 Hz power supplies
  • Knowledge of 480v to 208v three-phase systems
  • Security clearance or be able to obtain one
  • Up to date knowledge and understanding of requirements of NEC
  • Knowledge of medium and low voltage electrical systems


Ideally, you’ll also have: 


  • Trade school or technical program diploma
  • Proven leadership and effective communication skills with customers and other staff
