KPMG is currently seeking an Audit Senior Associate to join our Federal Audit practice.


  • Review and evaluate financial risk, financial reporting and accounting transactions processes including controls related to federal entities
  • Assess and evaluate complex federal financial statements
  • Supervise and review work performed by other staff and interact with the manager on client and team matters
  • Oversee Audit associates and interns on engagements
  • Understand and utilize KPMG's Audit Methodology


  • Minimum two years of experience in auditing and accounting/financial advisory services
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university, CPA eligible in their home office state along with meeting the minimum educational requirements for CPA licensure
  • Experience in financial and systems controls, accounting including knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) with Federal GAAP preferred
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience
  • U.S. Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance
