KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, State and Local Government Contracts to join our Government Contracts  organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer contracts including negotiation, correspondence, documentation, certification, and regulatory; reporting in coordination with Contracts organization management
  • Review RFPs/RFQs to ensure compliance with terms and conditions; provide advice and interpretation of contract requirements
  • Draft contract related documents for review by Contract Managers and Office of General Counsel (OGC)
  • Advise leadership and engagement management of contractual rights, obligations and risks; compile and analyze data
  • Maintain historical contract information and update contract management information systems
  • Monitor adherence to established Department policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Minimum two years of relevant professional experience in a State and Local Government Contract role
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Prior experience working with multiple solicitation types, and contract types
  • A high degree of proficiency in Microsoft office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat, experience with contract management systems such as Deltek a plus
  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
