Job Description

Responsibilities: Write and prepare corporate finance transaction-related documentation and marketing materials, including information memoranda, pitch books, corporate profiles, and market data and analyses. Research and contact potential financial and strategic buyers. Assist clients with Merger & Acquisition (M&A), capital raising, restructuring, and other strategic financial advisory services. Perform in-depth company and industry research supporting specific client engagements and marketing opportunities. Perform financial modeling, including valuation assessments.

WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00am – 5:00pm)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited college/university in Finance or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in the offered position or a related occupation. Employer will accept a master’s degree plus two (2) years of experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree plus five years of experience. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. Two (2) years of experience must include: Using valuation methods, including discounted cash flow, multi-period excess earnings, market and income approaches; Using Capital IQ to build valuation models, market comparisons, and precedent transaction analyses; Executing sell-side investment banking transactions with U.S. and non-U.S. parties; Valuation of business entities and intangible assets; Reviewing and analyzing U.S. GAAP financial statements and client financial projections; Using Capital IQ to source data required to build valuation models.
