Responsibilities: Participate in the planning and execution of I.T. audit engagements. Participate in system development, SSAE 16 readiness assessments, and platform reviews. Evaluate the design and effectiveness of technology controls throughout the business cycle. Assess the design and effectiveness of I.T. controls over software applications, databases, servers, and infrastructure. Identify process improvement opportunities and conduct control impact assessments to evaluate risks within operational and financial reporting processes. Present I.T. audit findings and work papers.
WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00am – 5:00pm)
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited college/university plus five (5) years of experience in the offered position or a related occupation. Employer will accept a master’s degree plus two (2) years of experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree plus five years of experience. Employer will accept a single degree or any combination of degrees, diplomas or employment experience determined to be equivalent by a qualified evaluation service to meet the bachelor’s degree requirement. Two years of experience must include SSAE 16; SAP; JD Edwards; Cognos; Hyperion; internal and external I.T. audit; and Peoplesoft.
