Job Description

Responsibilities: Provide accounting advisory support to clients, including implementation assistance with new accounting standards. Assist with Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) regulatory filings for spin-offs, carve-outs, initial public offerings (IPO), debt offerings, and other acquisition filings for both domestic and cross-border transactions. Provide conversion services to United States and foreign-registered companies requiring a change in financial reporting to U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Provide accounting and reporting assistance for mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, capital raising and financial structures, financial instrument, revenue recognition, and fresh-start accounting support to companies upon emergence from bankruptcy. Prepare and present accounting findings and concepts.

WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00am – 5:00pm)


Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or foreign equivalent in Accounting or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in the offered position or a related occupation. Employer will accept a master’s degree plus two (2) years of experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years of experience. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. Up to 100% travel to various locations per business need. Two years of experience must include: applying U.S. GAAP and IFRS to leases, revenue recognition, and financial instrument accounting; performing technical accounting research, creating documentation, desks, summaries, and client presentations; assisting with U.S. GAAP to IFRS conversion for U.S. and foreign-registered companies; and assisting with SEC regulatory filing for spin-offs, carve-outs, IPO, and debt offerings for both domestic and cross-border transactions.
