Description
What if...
... we showed you how we're solving the world’s greatest challenges by transforming intangible ideas into intelligent solutions for a more connected, sustainable world?
At Jacobs, we push the limits of what’s possible to make the world smarter and more accessible for all. In our transport work, that means designing innovative solutions to move people and goods safely and efficiently across the globe. From rail systems mobilising accessible transit, to ports linking land and sea – when it comes to connecting the people and places of tomorrow, the future of transport depends on us.
We’re seeking an Undergraduate Transport Planner to join our Sydney Transport Planning team this summer. You'll be involved in project teams developing transport planning strategies, traffic and transport studies and/or traffic modelling projects for some of the projects that will shape the future of Australia's transportation systems. Our teams are involved with major and iconic projects such as Sydney Metro, WestConnex Sydney Gateway and the M12 Motorway and many other initiatives with public and private sector clients.
Ideally, you're in your penultimate year at university studying Civil Engineering, Modelling, Planning or similar degree. This is a unique role that requires applicants hold Australian / New Zealand Citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency. Bring your curiosity, collaborative spirit and strong communication skills, and we’ll help you grow, pursue and fulfil what drives you – so we can make big impacts on the world, together.

We're challenging today to reinvent tomorrow by solving the world's most critical problems, turning abstract ideas into realities that transform the world for good.
