We are seeking a Project Administrative assistance to join our Higgins Office team in Chicago, IL.
Job Responsibilities:
Candidate should be able to think on their feet, work minimal supervision, multitask effectively as well as utilize independent judgment, and have the initiative to take on new tasks and challenges every day. Would provide administrative support duties for the office as well as some project work for the Elgin O’Hare Western Access project. Duties may involve a variety of moderately complex office support functions.
There may be times, where candidate is asked to perform receptionist duties, visitor management, including the maintenance of visitor and staff attendance records and the issue of Visitor badges, order employee or client meals, assist with coordination of events. facilities support such as ordering supplies, ordering lunches and assisting employees as needed. In addition, will be asked to act as Engineering Administrative Assistant supporting Manager of Engineering, Discipline Managers and project teams including managing documents, invoice assistance, subconsultant coordination, and organizing meetings. Activities would also require updating information in Jacobs approved software tools.

Qualifications
•Fluency in English (verbal and written) required
•High School Diploma required – some College preferred
•Strong computer skills required (MS Office Suite or software programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
•At least 5 years experience as an Administrative Assistant required
•Highway transportation planning or construction experience is preferred, but not required
