We are currently in need of an HR Onboarding Specialist to join our team.  Do you have the following skills?

  

As an HR Onboarding Specialist you will: 

  • Support the new hire onboarding process (meeting scheduling, new hire orientations, managing onboarding process and files)
  • Provide onboarding support for the Talent Acquisition team while working closely with other cross-functional teams such as HR Business Partners and Department Admins
  • Maintains procedural documentation related to onboarding processes
  • Acquire and maintain expertise to provide support in Taleo, DocuSign and other systems related to onboarding
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Management to ensure understanding of policies and procedures and respond to questions from new hires as needed
  • Serve as a back-up for responding to inquiries and questions via phone, email or voicemail.
  • Performs administrative tasks for leadership  
  • Ability to handle confidential data with a high level of professionalism.
  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills.
  • Ability to manipulate and analyze data using Excel formulas.
  • Prior experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).  
  • Ability to prepare correspondence and documents with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Be resourceful in accomplishing work tasks and obtaining needed information.
  • Ability to interact in a helpful, courteous and professional manner.
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency and level of energy required to handle a fast-paced environment.
  • Must demonstrate flexibility when work assignments or priorities change and a willingness to do whatever it takes to ensure the overall effectiveness of the HR function.
  • Perform other duties as required.
 
 
 
 
 
Qualifications
 
Required Education/Experience/Skills:
  • Requires one (1) year of college with courses in Business Administration and three (3) years related experience, or any combination of relevant education and experience for a total of four (4) years.
  • Ability to handle confidential data with a high level of professionalism.
  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills. Ability to manipulate and analyze data using Excel formulas.
  • Prior experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and priority setting skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently on multiple projects concurrently with time sensitive deadlines.
  • Must demonstrate flexibility when work assignments or priorities change and a willingness to do whatever it takes to ensure the overall effectiveness of the HR function.
  • Ability to prepare correspondence and documents with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Be resourceful in accomplishing work tasks and obtaining needed information.
  • Ability to interact in a helpful, courteous and professional manner.
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency and level of energy required to handle a fast-paced environment.
Preferences:
  • Prior experience in Taleo and PeopleSoft.

Essential Functions
Work Environment
Generally an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.
 
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs (5% of time).
 
Equipment and Machines
Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.).
 
Attendance
Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required.
 
Other Essential Functions
Must be able to work in a team atmosphere. Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.
