We are looking for a passionate Pulp & Paper Technical Consultant reporting into the Greenville, SC who is excited about working on projects that enhance the heart of our clients’ business. Join us and you’ll have the chance to work on projects evaluating business case and strategy for state-of-the-art industrial facilities. You’ll collaborate within many facets of our business and interact with the full spectrum of staff from the entry level engineers to the senior business unit leadership. You’ll support pulp and paper projects across the globe, providing technical knowledge while helping to grow our business. Working with some of the brightest minds in the industry, you’ll act as a technical consultant and strategist providing expertise and leadership as a project technical consultant, subject matter expert, or industry presenter. Clients in the paper industry will see you as their go-to contact as you build strong relationships by solving their toughest obstacles. Bring your expertise in our Specialized Manufacturing business and desire to work on tough problems, and we’ll empower you to deliver the boldest solutions for our clients. Qualifications
Here's What You'll Need: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, paper science, or related field • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a paper mill setting. • Experience with various pulp & paper unit operations (wood yard, pulp mill, papermaking, utilities, etc.) Ideally, You’ll Also Have: • Certification as Professional Engineer (PE) • Demonstrated experience presenting complex technical information and interpretations to clients and stakeholders in a readily understandable manner. • History of effective collaboration with multiple technical disciplines including experts. • Membership to Professional societies related to the industry (TAPPI, etc.) • Desire to maintain the highest standards of Health & Safety and Quality Control in all work Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
