We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Instrumentation & Control Systems (I&CS) Engineer in Boise, Idaho. As part of our team, you’ll have the chance to work on projects that bring innovative solutions to our municipal clients’ water and wastewater challenges locally and worldwide.You’ll be charged with using your experience to lead the development of Process & Instrumentation Drawings (P&IDs) able develop control narratives. You’ll coordinate with other engineering disciplines and departments to ensure success. You’ll also contribute in the development and growth of people (e.g. mentoring junior engineers) both domestically and globally. You’ll be able to develop hardware assembly and wiring diagrams for supervisory control and data acquisition systems, develop control system software in PLC ladder logic, function block, HMI programming and perform facility startup, checkout and commissioning activities Qualifications
Here’s What You’ll Need:• Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline from an accredited university or college • Minimum of 10 years of experience in PLC and DCS computer control systems, development of P&ID’s, development of control system architecture, SCADA systems, Human Machine Interface (HMI) software • demonstrate knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of instrumentation and process computer control systems • Holds an active professional engineering (PE) license • Ability to mentor, train, and delegate work to others domestically and abroad • Capable of working in a team environment, including giving and receiving critical feedback • Strong and effective verbal and written communications skills • Successful experience with working and managing remote domestic and international staff • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
