We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Conveyance Project Manager based of our Toronto or Kitchener, ON offices to work on exciting and engaging large-scale infrastructure projects. In this role you will have the chance to manage linear infrastructure projects, watermain, sewer, distribution networks, tunnels, rehabilitation, storm water project of varying size and complexity.


Working with other members of the team, you will act as one of the company's prime contacts with the client and are responsible for overall work progress and technical performance on the project, work closely with the business group project delivery leadership or other senior project manager /operations leaders who provide oversight and mentoring.


During your time with us, you will lead and manage the project team through all phases of project planning, execution, and closeout, consistent with established project delivery processes to meet the scope, schedule, budget and other specified requirements stated in the contract, act as a technical resource for a variety of water sanitary and storm water systems, as well as actively involved in business development activities leading to the award of contract, which includes client relationship development, project-specific positioning activities, proposal preparation, oral presentation, and contract negotiation consistent with established business development processes. 




• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or applicable discipline and/or equivalent experience)

• P.Eng. designation in Ontario or eligibility to receive it within 12 months

• Minimum 15 years experience, with at least 10 years in an engineering consulting environment

• Previous demonstrated experience managing municipal conveyance projects


The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
• Strong theoretical knowledge about hydraulic design and hydraulic structures, 
• Significant experience in planning, risk management, schedule development and control, work monitoring and cost control of design and construction projects
• Significant experience in preliminary design, detailed design and contract administration /construction management of municipal conveyance projects using open cut and tunneling construction methods
• Proven experience leading and managing project teams on consulting projects
• Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills
• Excellent report writing skills
• Completion of formal PM training in an accredited program that aligns with the requirements of Certified Project Management bodies (e.g. PMI), would be an asset.
