Job Description


SAIC is seeking an experienced Administrative professional to join the National Security Customer Group (NSCG). NSCG provides specialized program management, engineering, analysis and operations support to a variety of Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) customers. We support the generation after next of national security-related systems based in space, in the air and on the ground.


You will provide general administrative and clerical support as well as perform routine and non-routine tasks including special projects.  You will be responsible for scheduling and making arrangements for meetings, for maintaining Microsoft calendars for Government staffs, for researching and securing requested information, and for researching, authoring, compiling and proofing of various reports, briefings and studies.  You will transcribe confidential or technical information, take and distribute meeting minutes, order supplies, distribute mail, answer phones, respond to customer/client/employee inquiries, and other office administrative duties as required. Interacts with other support staff and departments to gather, supply, or coordinate information.  


  • Minimum of eleven (11) or more years of related experience working in a government contracting or onsite with a government customer in an administrative assistant capacity.
  • Experience with Government travel process preferred
  • Experience with general administrative work including transcribing meeting minutes, producing reports and presentations, coordinating meetings, calendars and leadership schedules.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Effective customer engagement, interpersonal communications, writing, and briefing skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and team environment
  • Active TS/SCI with Poly required
