As the AEM Developer, you will do hands-on development on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform components, templates, workflows, and other AEM building blocks. Responsibilities include developing code specifically for AEM; enhancing the AEM platform’s architectural design and functionality, & hands-on AEM code maintenance of highly transactional and interactive web sites. Perform system-level integration, and automated unit testing of our AEM platform with other Adobe tech-stack tools (Audience Mgr, etc). You will have the opportunity to contribute to major AEM technical discussions and AEM enhancement initiatives related to improving customer experience, usability, latest web technologies, prototype development etc.

Qualifications

Here's what you need:

  • 3 years JavaScript experience
  • 3 years’ experience in an Agile development environment
  • Experience developing custom code and interfaces to other application systems
  • At least one (1) year of hands on development experience with AEM
  • Demonstrated ability to use common Java design patterns and a working knowledge of AEM best practices to create custom templates, components, workflows and dialogues
  • Demonstrated presentation and communication skills, including the ability to communicate directly with clients to explain technical concepts

 

Bonus points if you have:

  • Large scale federal contract experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or above in Computer-related field
  • Previous experience working on a major website
  • Diplomacy, emotional intelligence, ownership, accountability and a sense of urgency

 

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
