Mission Statement 

The eFInance, Leaveweb and FMSuite (eLF) team provides maintenance, sustainment, enhancement, integration support, configuration management and cyber security for three key Air Force Financial Management systems. eLF provides users financial services such as permanent change of station, leave requests and fiscal year budget services to over five hundred thousand Air Force Active Duty, Air Guard and Reserve users.

Job Description  

Currently assigned to the eFinance, LeaveWeb, FMSuite (eLF) contract in Dayton, OH. This position provides daily maintenance of the computers, networks and servers used by the eLF development team.  Provides short and long-term planning for the computer, network communications, software, network and computer security needs of the team in support of the eLF contract.

Typical Duties    

Work scope may include any/all of the following duties:

• Provide daily maintenance of the computers, networks and servers used by the eLF development team. 
• Provide short and long-term planning for the computer, network communications, software, network and computer security needs of the team in support of the eLF contract. 
• Develop and maintain network hardware and software architecture to support development, documentation support, administration and management in accordance with established Jacobs CMM procedures. 
• Install and maintain computers and networking equipment. Working knowledge of Air Force network and Desktop security management is preferred; including the installation of required security patches as directed by policy. 
• Maintain inventory of the eLF contract hardware and software requirements to include new purchases and renewals.
• Maintain database of system certificate expirations.
• Research and provide quotes for necessary software/hardware purchases.
• Perform and maintain system backups.
• Perform application and server DISA STIGs maintenance as well as maintaining and coordinating ports, protocols, and services update modifications with the Air Force INOSC.
• Maintain and configures Dell EqualLogic and other 3^rd party SAN solutions.
• Maintain Dell PowerEdge M1000e Blade enclosures, Dell PowerEdge M610/M630, Dell MXL and Cisco 3130g Catalyst Blade Switches.

Qualifications

Education Desired/Required:

Typically requires an Associate’s degree in Computer Science/Math/Engineering and at least seven (7) years of related experience; or any combination of education, progressive relevant experience, training or certifications for a total of 9 years.

Clearance Required

Requires at least a current DoD Secret Clearance to be considered for interview.

Experience Required 

• Extensive administration of VMWare ESXi, SQL Server 2014, and SQL Server 2016 experience required
• Intermediate skills in performing database monitoring, maintenance, optimization and design tasks
• Knowledge of cloud services, ARM templates, infrastructures, terminology and dataflow for both Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS 
• Knowledge of structured query languages plus knowledge of Microsoft Server 2012 Operating systems, Microsoft 2016 Operating systems, Dell PS Series SANs, Dell PowerEdge Blade Enclosure, and Network technologies.
• Skills in performing server backup and restoration of archived data utilizing various backup solutions and VMWare snapshots.   
• Configuration of Apache Web Servic

Experience Desired    

• Ability to perform database development in a structured process oriented CMM/CMMI environment desired.
• Experience in Gov or Mil cloud environments preferred
• Experience with Java, Pearl and Powershell scripting/coding preferred

Training & Certifications   

• DoD 8570 Certification for IAT Level II or higher required (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE or SSCP)
• Microsoft MCSA or MCSE preferred

U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Essential Functions

Physical Requirements:

Light- Work usually requires standing or walking to a significant degree. Exerts up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently to move objects.

Work Environment:

Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner to get along with customers, clients, co-workers and management.

Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision.

Equipment and Machines:

Standard office equipment and machines, computer workstation.

Attendance:

With the exception of STD/LTD/FMLA & approved time off, attendance is considered essential.

Must be able to work within the shift hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

May be required to work outside of normal shift hours when required for mission support.

Other Essential Functions:

Some travel may be required.
