The work:

• Perform vulnerability scans on Cloud-based and on-premises Network and Operating Systems using Nessus, SecurityCenter, and Nipper.

• Review the scan results and provide analysis, validation and remediation steps.

• Classify and prioritize the risk of new vulnerabilities according to the specifics of the environment's risk level, and assess the impacts of internal and external threats

• Deploy, configure and run scanning tools such as Nessus, SecurityCenter, and Nipper in dev, test and production environments.

• Support hardening compliance and patching efforts for all system components. Web Application security scanning and testing with Burp Suite Pro or similar tool is a bonus.

Qualifications

Here's what you need:

• 2+ years of experience deploying and configuring Tenable Nessus and SecurityCenter
• Experience with full vulnerability management process utilizing Tenable Nessus (i.e Discover, Assess, Report, Remediate, Verify)
• 1 year experience assessing OS and/or Network Device and/or Databases 

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience deploying, configuring, and running dynamic code scanning tools for web application security flaws. Preference on Burp Suite Pro experience
• Experience with implementing reporting to DHS’s CyberScope reporting system
• Experience with vulnerability assessment in AWS cloud infrastructures
• Experience with Agent-based Nessus vulnerability scanning
• Experience deploying, configuring, and running dynamic code scanning tools for mobile application security flaws
• Experience with Linux Operating Systems 
• Prior experience working in fraud operations

Important Eligibility Requirements:

• United States Citizenship required (no dual citizenship)

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
