Conduct information technology (IT) risk assessments, identify key IT controls to address risks, and develop IT controls testing approach. Collect and analyze data to detect deficient IT controls. Evaluate the design and effectiveness of IT controls throughout the business cycle. Recommend changes in operations to optimize IT controls and security. Manage, plan and execute the day-to-day activities of IT audit engagements, including system development, package implementation, SSAE 16 readiness assessments, and platform reviews. Document procedures performed to test IT controls. Write and present clear and concise reports containing observations and conclusions related to IT audits. Support proposal and business development activities, including identifying new target clients. Build business relationships with executives. Provide oversight to team members regarding deliverables, project plans, and performance management. Contribute to industry and regulatory publications, write professional and thought leadership articles, and speak at related conferences and seminars.
WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
Must have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field, and 7 years of related work experience, out of which 5 years must be post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience with the following: Sarbanes-Oxley IT audits; SSAE16 related to SOC1; IT audits, risk assessment, or business process reengineering; Managing IT audit engagements in the technology industry; Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) Auditing standards; Utilizing Workday, SAP ECC, SAP HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle Financials, Oracle NetSuite, Oracle Hyperion, Oracle Discoverer, or Oracle HRMS; Utilizing CRM packages, including Salesforce; Utilizing Code development tools, including GitHub and Jenkins; Utilizing GRC tools, including SAP GRC and Oracle GRC; and IT security, IT project management, IT outsourcing, IT off shoring, or IT strategy.
Travel up to 25% required.
