We’re seeking a Project Manager to profitably grow DTRA proliferation prevention program opportunities and successfully pilot these projects through delivery. You’ll apply your technical experience in threat reduction to develop competitive and innovative strategies to grow our proliferation prevention program while also managing these projects - championing safety, quality and the well-being of your team.
As an expert in this space, you’ll be counted on to support our business development team in successfully positioning for work by developing technical approaches and strategies. You’ll grow your career as you interact with the client to grow our business, increasing competitiveness and market share. Working with our Portfolio Operations Director and Sales Principal, you’ll create a business plan for accomplishing profitable growth and operations of this area and execute the plan, responding accordingly to changing market conditions. You’ll collaborate on strategies for execution of the Scope of Work contained in IDIQ Contracts and Task Orders, development of proposal responses, including technical approach development and pricing, and assignment of key personnel. Once projects are awarded, you’ll deliver them safely, on time and on budget as the Project Manager. You’ll have the opportunity to travel extensively, possibly taking on a future international assignment to deliver this work.
By designing and navigating the strategy across proliferation prevention program projects, you’ll help your team understand the clients’ goals. Bring your experience in the Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR) program along with your desire to win and deliver in this space, and we’ll solve our clients’ toughest environmental challenges, together.

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, environmental science, geology or other closely related technical degree
- Experience working with the proliferation prevention program with emphasis on positioning for, bidding and winning projects, field operations and project execution
- International experience and willingness to travel internationally
- Experience building and leading teams
This position is open to any U.S. location, including remote work.
- Experience as a successful leader in business development, working directly with DTRA
- Professional Engineer (PE), Professional Geologist (PG) license or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
