You’ll be immersed in the integrated design process and the real world of applying sustainable design principles to ongoing projects. You will be exposed to performance tools such as WUFI and Revit Insight. Alongside senior specialists, you will become familiar with the requirements that drive high performance building design for our clients.


The Arlington office design team is focused on Building design for the Global US Federal Market which includes unique building types and renovation projects around the country and the world.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • In pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture from an NAAB accredited program, Interior Design, Architectural Engineering, Engineering, or Sustainability-related degree program.
  • Must be at least a rising Junior
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs


Ideally, you’ll also have:


  • 3.0 GPA
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and Sketchup
  • A previous internship related to your field of study
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management within Jacobs
  • Self-driven time management and organizational skills
  • A portfolio of applicable recent work
