As an emerging Civil Engineering Professional in Knoxville, TN, you will support our Federal Buildings and Infrastructure Design Practice and have a hand in transforming tomorrow. You’ll be surrounded by expert mentorship opportunities to help you thrive in your new career.  
As a Civil Design Engineer, you’ll have the chance working with other members of the civil team to deliver projects of varying complexity and size. During your time with us, you will be responsible for daily tasks involved in site design for facilities and structures. Under supervision from more senior staff, provide design support on facility and infrastructure design projects. This includes performing computer-aided drafting and modeling to produce design deliverables.  Help develop conceptual and detailed designs of sites for facilities and infrastructure projects based on scope of project, design criteria and applicable codes and standards. Assist with gathering field data to support development of design deliverables.
Here's What You'll Need:
  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from ABET accredited school. 
  • Experience in 2D CAD drafting and 3D/BIM modeling.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and written communication skills.
  • US citizenship 
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. 
Ideally, you’ll also have:  
  • Experience with Autodesk Civil3D and Bentley GeoPak
  • Fundamentals of Engineering (FE).
