As the Project Manager on our team, you'll interact directly with the Client as the Owner Representative with an emphasis on ensuring and leading the Jacobs team with an emphasis on Schedule, Cost, Scope and Safety.
Responsible for overall project delivery (cost, schedule, quality, information, contracts)
Manage project development from conception through completion in accordance with program objectives
Manages all budgets, schedules, scope development, design and construction contracts, documents, procedures and controls for assigned projects
Manages the review and approval process for consultant invoices and contractor pay applications and change orders
Resolves complex construction related issues, disputes, and disagreements.
Reviews status and monitors variances of the construction project database relative to scheduling and cost control reporting
Excellent communication skills as this position is client facing
Expertise in preparing written reports, correspondence, and in briefing clients and management
Ability to multitask and work in a fast pace environment
Ability to manage both on site staff (project engineer, Inspector) and off site support staff (estimators, schedulers, SME Design Reviewers) and Commissioning Staff.
Here's what you'll need:
Registration as an Architect, Engineer or Certified Construction Manager
At least 15 years of experience in a project related technical field required
Knowledge of project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building
Specific experience in CMc (Construction Manager as Constructor) delivery method.
Experience working on Historic and Federal Builidngs.
