UK Field Services has over 50 years’ experience working in the construction industry. Our core business is the delivery of projects and programmes in partnership with our clients. We have a wide and diverse pool of experienced resources using proven delivery systems and processes that are benchmarked as best in class.

Role Outline/Responsibilities:

•    Engagement with LoB Directors to identify project requirements and new opportunities
•    Interface with learning and development team including management and tracking of Field Solutions craft and staff requirements
•    Operational accountability of labour allocation and forecasting including booking allocations
•    Accountability for cross project re-deployment activities and links into wider CMSI resource management team
•    Attendance at regular operational meetings maximising deployment opportunities for Field Solutions personnel
•    Accountability for the collation and update of capability data
•    Track and support of cross project transfers
•    Support LoB directors with operational activities across UK and Europe
•    Manage and track FS operational onboarding process for new employees both craft and staff
•    Accountable to generate and maintain operational requirements plan for Field Solutions 
•    Responsible for the implementation of standardised training requirements in collaboration with the operations management team and learning and development team
•    Support in maintaining updated SQEP activities
•    Generate and maintain operational tracking information across business units
•    Support with the alignment of operational records
•    Develop craft management plan with craft labour planner
•    Engagement and understanding of union requirements across UK
•    Accountable for maintaining allocated operational process & procedures
•    Interface with facilities management team
•    Regular interfacing and integration with the operational management team and functional team



•    Proven operational management experience
•    Resource & training management experience
•    Experience in developing operational forecasts and programmes
•    Ability to engage and develop strong relationships with senior managers and stakeholders
•    Ability to manage and implement new process and procedures
•    Ability to travel throughout UK and Europe if required
•    Excellent management & communication skills
•    Appreciation of construction process skills & requirements
•    Facilities management experience
•    Ability to conduct operational audits and develop improvement plans
•    Ability to fully utilise Microsoft Office
