Create and maintain appropriate drawing and product documentation.
Work closely with engineering and purchasing to create and maintain bills of material.
Create cable and harness diagrams and drawings.
Assist in the creation of assembly documentation.
Make measurements or observations of shop and field installations to update documentation.
Perform routine engineering computations.
Prepare engineering change orders.
One-year detailed drafting experience, preferably in the high technology industry with emphasis on electro-mechanical drawing.
Must have a general knowledge of the mechanical and electro-mechanical fields of design and be thoroughly familiar with recommended design/drafting standards.
Must have 3D CAD proficiency and SolidWorks experience a plus.
Proficiency in SolidWorks.
Experience with EPDM and configuration management is a plus.
Familiarity with GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
Familiarization with cable design to supporting cable drawings.
Experience preparing schematics, logic diagrams and block diagrams.
Ability to generate mechanical assembly drawings and bills of materials.
Ability to generate detailed fabrication drawings for machined components, sheet metal, PCBs and cable assemblies.
Self-starter with the ability to work under limited supervision.
Ability to acquire a security clearance if required.
