-Develop, document, and execute manufacturing processes.
-Develop, execute, and document technical reports for process validation plans.
-Assemble intricate, highly miniaturized electronic assemblies including bare die placement, surface mount technology, and final integration.
-Design and qualify complex tooling to facilitate product assembly.
-Design and conduct laboratory experiments to evaluate material selections and/or advanced electronic packaging manufacturing processes.
-Interface with design and production teams throughout product lifecycle.
-5+ years of experience.
-Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering with focus on electronic assembly and packaging.
-Must have good interpersonal and team-oriented skills.
-Experience developing, documenting, and refining processes, including assembly, material processing, and environmental testing.
-Strong attention to details and organizational skills.
-Experience with methodically resolving complex production-related failures.
-Hands-on manufacturing experience, including soldering and fabrication experience.
-Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
-Ability to understand projects are scalable based on customer needs and requirements.
-Ability to champion products and projects as they transition into a pre-production and production environment.
-Familiarity with printed circuit board fabrication.
-Experience with manufacturing and assembling products for space environments.
-Experience creating and executing DOE (design of experiments).
-Machine shop experience.
-3D Computer-Aided-Design (CAD) experience, especially Solidworks.
