We are looking for a passionate innovator and start up coach to join the global Beyond If team. Just like entrepreneurs bring teams together to grow new businesses, our Beyond If intrapreneur will drive growth opportunities with internal teams to develop real products and solutions for our clients. Based in the US and reporting to our established incubation team in the UK, you’ll support, lead, coach and drive global teams to incubate and scale the best ideas fast.
The initial focus of this role in 2021 is driving a portfolio of 6-10 new business ideas at various stages of maturity. You’ll foster each new idea through our lean start up incubation pathway that you will help refine. You will provide hands on incubation and solution development using a lean start up and agile approach. You’ll help steer, coach, lead and drive the innovation teams to bring their ideas to market.
As a Jacobs Intrapreneur, you’ll collaborate with product managers, product owners and business sponsors, driving incubation teams in the development of new solutions that deliver commercial value. This will involve providing business strategy/commercial thinking/customer insight/incubation process advice to teams. Additionally, you’ll manage the financial aspects of the incubation process such as bidding for funding through our investment panels and then managing funding spend throughout the process, modelling the business case and Return on Investment. You’ll create and manage solution strategies, roadmaps, project plans and specifications, driving the teams to capture and consider customer insight at all parts of the process, ensuring we get the right customer insight. Ensuring continuous strategic alignment, you’ll report on portfolio performance to senior stakeholders as necessary to keep the initiatives on track. You’ll also collaborate with sales and marketing teams to launch solutions and drive early sales. Once the solution has been established, work with operating units to embed it into business as usual.
