Job Description

Definitive Logic is seeking a results-oriented, self-motivated Power Platform Specialist who will be designing and developing a Power Platform solution. Candidates must have experience building/supporting complex business applications. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience with the following development technologies:
 
  • PowerApps Portal
  • PowerApps
  • Common Data Services
  • SharePoint Online
  • Power Automate 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develops software solutions by studying requirements analysis and information needs; conferring with stakeholders and IT Management; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; performs software design using software development fundamentals and processes, debug, test, and deploy software solutions.
  • Executes within an Agile SDLC framework
  • Experience with developing Applications in Power Platform/Dynamics 365
  • Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code
  • Build Proof of Concept / Early Adopter examples or graphical simulation software. Then maintain product test software and demos for training purposes
  • Actively participate in Product Design Reviews by providing creative and practical ideas and solutions in a teamwork environment 
 
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:     
  • Develop documentation to improve current operating procedures
  • Must be flexible and able to work nights/weekends as needed to support planned and unplanned maintenance and troubleshooting events
  • The successful candidate will demonstrate self-initiative and be able to operate with little to no supervision. Must have strong time management, multi-tasking, organization and administrative skills and must be proficient with Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Candidate will need to provide weekly status reports on all supporting efforts
 
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen as this work entails working with the U.S. Federal Government
  • Candidates must be eligible and able to obtain pass a Federal government background check.
  • Past employment supporting the U.S. Federal government and/or military experience is a plus
  • Candidates should already possess a current Microsoft Certification or be able to show proof of working towards obtaining one very soon
  • Candidates must already possess an Associates or Bachelor’s degree
  • Candidates should have at least 3 or more years of experience performing similar or comparable work in an environment of similar scale and complexity
  • Candidates must be flexible and have prior experience supporting at least one or more large Power Platform implementations
  • Candidates must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English equivalent to a native speaker
  • Candidates must possess excellent communication skills and be able to communicate efficiently and effectively
  • Candidates must be able to work well with clients and team members of all levels
