The candidate’s primary responsibility will include providing assistance to the Information System Security Officer in developing security procedures, policies and contingency planning documentation. This includes all system documentation required. The candidate will also support assessments of compliance of existing security policy.
The candidate’s qualifications include:
Knowledgeable of NIST SP 800
Knowledge of how to coordinate, evaluate and direct COOP activities and exercises
Knowledge of physical and actual controls best practices.
Ability to communicate and collaborate with a wide variety of individuals inside and outside the organization.
Candidate must have the ability to work independently under limited supervision and provide management with status of projects, problems or other outstanding issues. Candidate must demonstrate solid communication skills.
At least three years of combined Information Technology (IT) experience: a. Installing, maintaining, or managing any one of the following: IT network devices, physical/virtual servers, operating system/database platforms (e.g. Linux, Windows, UNIX, Solaris, Oracle, SQL, MySQL) and/or, Supporting information systems as an Information or Cyber Security professional.
**MUST PASS A NATIONAL AGENCY CHECK**
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and 3 years related experience.
