Job Description


SAIC is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to provide tailored operations research and analysis to enable department leaders to visualize and understand the field workforce posture in terms of capability, capacity, and force utilization. The successful candidate will research and extract data from various databases to process and apply the data to the department’s core tasks.  You will analyze data to characterize the field workforce posture on a global, regional, or functional basis.  You will depict analyses in graphic formats to enable internal planning and coordination, and interpret the data to identify trends that impact execution and design of operational field strategies.  The candidate will identify gaps in data and assess database functionality to provide input into requirements for funding, development, and integration.  You will also design and implement formatted reports to address recurring queries about field operations and personnel.



  • Must have current TS/SCI with polygraph clearance
  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field (four years of relevant experience may substitute in lieu of a degree) with 10+ years of experience.
  • Must have knowledge of customer organization and activities, particularly field operations.
  • Must have prior experience analyzing and interpreting data, responding to queries about data, and presenting data in a visual format.
  • Must have successful record of accomplishment supporting project teams and requirements in a fast-paced environment against high priority targets.
  • Outstanding coordination skills and ability to build strong customer relationships, along with a high comfort level managing multiple requirements.
  • High level of proficiency using multiple software programs and databases including but not limited to:  operational reporting databases, force tracking tools, HR databases, business analytics data, Tableau, Confluence, Hive, Microsoft Office suite, and other customer-unique tools. 
  • Must have experience supporting customers of all levels, including excellent facilitation and teamwork skills and the ability to provide regular status updates and briefings.
