Location: Washington Navy Yard
Provide tech data support for various weapons system platforms to include the SEAWOLF Class and individual systems. Develop data management strategies and requirements to include assessment of long term technical data needs and data sustainment for various weapon systems, driving achievement of program sustaining goals. Serve as the program office reviewer for all technical documentation and products including Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL's) within the portfolio and provide logistics liaison/direction to developers for content, delivery and compliance. Develop technical data contract language for various contracting documents, provide recommendations regarding Technical Data Packages (TDP), procurement strategy and maintenance, and additional tech data duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Extensive knowledge and experience with the following: technical data fundamentals, DoD and Navy policies and instructions; Tech data development review and publications; Dept of the Navy modernization process manual (NMP-MOM), the Joint Fleet Maintenance (JFFM), and intimate knowledge of technical data product updates to include system and equipment level technical manuals, operating manuals and drawings; MIL-STD-31000 - Tech Data packages and S1000D International Spec for Technical publications, Tech Manual Change Requests (TMCR), Provision Technical Data (PTDs) and EDFP; supporting various fleet feedback processes, i. e. Tech Manual Data Engineering Request (TMDERs), Tech Feedback Report (TFBRs), ACRs; intellectual property and data rights; Preventative Maint System Management Information System (PMSMIS), SMART-T, Tech Data Management Information Systems (TDMIS); working with Technical Support Agencies (TSAs) and Technical Manual Agencies (TMAs); and Navy planned maintenance products.
Bachelor's Degree and 8 years experience or, Master's Degree and 6 years experience. 4 Additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
