JOB DESCRIPTION: Works in the 618 Air Operations Center on day shift. Works with a team of analysts to review aircraft movement information in the core Air Mobility Command systems. Provides reports, spreadsheets and presentations about the different movements. This is done for daily activities as well as major movements over several weeks or months. Supports all different types of operations including support to southwest Asia, humanitarian missions and exercises around the world. Develops, inspects, mines, transforms, and models data to raise productivity, improve decision-making, and gain competitive advantage. Conducts statistical analysis on data and information to ensure correct predictive forecasting or classification. Manages all aspects of end-to-end data processing. Limited knowledge of industry practices and standards. Receives predetermined work assignment with specific instructions. Solves routine problems of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures. Contributions are usually limited to task-related activities related to aircraft and/or cargo movements in support of national military objectives. Required: Knowledge of military air operations; understanding of data analytics; at least an Interim Secret Clearance.
