The National Security and Space Division of SAIC currently has a full-time position for an Administrative Specialist Level II with an ACTIVE TOP SECRET/SCI POLYGRAPH to support the United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM), Fort Meade, Maryland.

The Administrative Specialist is a critical to the effective and efficient operations of the Command.  Duties include all aspects of administrative management, general office support, and coordination among organizations for day-to-day operations.

Dailey responsibilities may include:

  • Supports Military and Civilian Leadership (O6/GS-15) in maintaining their schedules and workflow
  • Performs all aspects of administrative and office support activities for the directorates, divisions, and/or branches within USCYBERCOM
  • Coordinates among organizations for day-to-day operations
  • Assists with planning and coordinating activities for office relocations and prepares front office materials for relocations
  • Maintains organization documentation, records, and files in accordance with knowledge management and records management policies and procedures
  • Provides end-user support and performs administrative duties with no guidance
  • Assists with coordinating, planning, and organizing events to include technical exchanges, conferences, and synchronization sessions, obtaining space and necessary materials and equipment
  • Works independently and communicates orally and in writing with all levels of an organization
  • Coordinates the arrival of visitors to include senior level military and civilian personnel and foreign visitors
  • Performs analysis, development, and update of command or office administrative operating procedures
  • Develops briefing materials
  • Processes Military personnel packages (Evaluations, Decorations, Awards), similar to what a military orderly room would do
  • Assists in budgetary, billing, and financial management of front office expenses incurred to support the organization
  • Performs management over Workflow Management System

 

THIS POSITION WILL BE WEEKDAYS – MON-FRI 0800-1600

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 6 (six) years of experience in office administration with a High School Diploma
  • Proficient in MS Office, MS Outlook and SharePoint
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.  
  • Excellent communications skills.
     

DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Ability to develop briefing materials
  • Experience with processing of Military personnel packages (EPR, OPR, OER, Fitreps, awards), similar to what a military orderly room would do.
  • Familiarity/experience in understanding a military organization environment and understanding how information flows.
  • Previous experience working with military and Civilian (O6 and GS 15) level personnel
  • Experience with a Task Management System. 
  • Ability to work independently to ensure mission accomplishment.
  • Excellent writing skills and ability to communicate effectively, and briefing senior officers.
