SAIC is seeking a candidate that will work as a Test Engineer in a collaborative team-focused environment. Will be responsible for developing test scripts in an environment consisting of various COTS and GOTS tools.   Ideal candidate should have experience developing test scripts and automated testing methodologies with security, scalability, and reliability in mind. Must be a dynamic, innovative, self-starting problem solver that can operate with minimal supervision. 

Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment. Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices. Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed. Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements. Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area. 

  • Must already possess an active TS/SCI with FS
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 8+ years of experience in systems/software engineering; if no degree, 10+ years of experience in systems/software engineering
  • 6+ years' experience providing manual testing support in a Windows/Linux environment 
  • Experience with Ubuntu (client) and CentOS 7 (server)
  • Experience using the VI editor
  • Possess basic understanding of network protocols (FTP/SSH/etc)

Qualifications

 

  • Must already possess an active TS/SCI with Poly

  • 6+ years' experience providing manual testing support in a Windows/Linux environment
