SAIC is pursuing an effort in several locations nationwide in support of USNORTHCOM and NORAD.

 Specifically, J8 S&T creates and executes strategies and supporting plans to exploit and develop innovative processes and defense systems, technology, and prototypes to respond to the needs of NORAD and USNORTHCOM through partnerships, analysis, experimentation, and wargaming; reviews and advocates for promising programs and projects; and synchronizes S&T activities across the command and other COCOMs.

At SAIC, we attract and invest in experienced professionals and incumbent staff to support a variety of program requirements.

The primary purpose of this work we be focused on performing Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E), and other Research and Development (R&D)-related analytical services in achieving the Requiring Activity's (RA’s) mission requirements to support USNORTHCOM and NORAD.

We are looking for various positions to conduct research, analysis, prototyping, and assessments to enhance the defense of North America. This work will support USNORTHCOM and NORAD with tracking currently identified and emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and capability gaps in the air and missile, maritime, land, and cross-cutting domains by providing assessments, research, analysis, experimentation, wargaming, studies, and material solutions to proactively develop solutions to S&T priorities.

These positions require a minimum of a Secret Clearance and preferably a Top Secret/SCI Clearance

BA/BS along with 5 to 17 years’ experience preferably with NORAD/USNORTHCOM 

Experience in the Air, Land, Sea, and/or Artic Domains

Active Secret security clearance, TS/SCI clearance preferred

Target salary range: $100,001 - $125,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
