Job Description



• Analyze user’s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications

• Analyze system requirements and leads design and development activities

• Guide users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies

• Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology

• Incorporate new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations

• Develop system architecture and system design documentation

• Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans

• Interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts

• Responsible for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility

• Communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives



Bachelors degree

Active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph

10 years experience applying Model Based Systems Engineering visual modeling principles and best practices to systems engineering activities throughout the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including, requirements analysis, validation and verification; functional analysis and allocations; performance analysis and trade studies; and system architecture specification.

• 10 years experience applying Model Based Systems Engineering models and modeling in the hardware and software engineering process for specification, design, integration, validation, and operation Experience applying a MBSE process that emphasize a system architecture model as the primary work artifact throughout the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

• 10 years experience applying a MBSE process to support all SDLC phases, Requirements, System Analysis, System Design, Implementation, System Integration, and Testing;

• 10 years experience applying MBSE process to support full SDLC requirements traceability, including comprehensive Verification & Validation (V&V) Support: The MBSE process must sof all functional and non-functional requirements

• 10 years experience applying Systems Modeling Language (SysML), a general-purpose modeling language for systems engineering applications, to implement Model Based Systems Engineering models, including the following diagram types: Block definition diagram, Internal block diagram, Package diagram, Use case diagram, Requirements diagram, Activity diagram, Sequence diagram, State machine diagram, Parametric diagram

• 10 years experience using Model Based Systems Engineering tools such as Modelio, Papyrus, Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect,IBM Rational Rhapsody
