SAIC is seeking a Cyber Security Operations Lead to support our customer at the Space and Missile Systems Center Advanced Systems & Development Directorate (SMC/ AD) to develop, deploy, modernize, and expand the its program and customers. The selected candidate will work closely with the customer and our cybersecurity team to develop and implement cybersecurity solutions and affiliated sustainment strategies and create cybersecurity engineering and sustainment processes and procedures to protect the organization. The candidate will help to mature the center, to include leveraging existing and incoming security tools, develop policy and procedures, and coordinate with both internal and external partners. This position is located in Albuquerque, NM.Primary duties may include:
Lead and engage stakeholders to ensure compliance for existing missions, collaborate with site leads to address missions migrating to Colorado and engage the customer to shape and anticipate future needs.
Create partnerships with EDIS cyber personnel across geographic locations addressing contract compliance, continuous process improvement and productivity enhancements.
Establish a core of cyber expertise to benefit SAIC existing business and collaborate with SAIC leadership to shape and grow our cyber base to win new work
Lead teams developing enterprise-level solutions that employ a combination of expert engineering knowledge, enterprise IT, security solutions, enterprise architecture, security policies, and a full spectrum of military cyberspace operational environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science with 14 years or more of relevant experience or Master’s degree and 12 years or more of relevant experience
Minimum 8 years of experience in cyber/cybersecurity, 4 years of which should be in a lead role
Active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI
MUST possess an IAT Level II or DoD Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) certification to be considered
Demonstrated experience working in DoD environments
Knowledgeable with SAFe Agile practices and tools
Experience as a systems engineer or similar technical role
CISSP or other cybersecurity certification
Experience adjudicating security issues.
Experience working with government cybersecurity staff to maintain the POAM
